Terrorism Threats from Greenpeace

.
Over the last six months it has become obvious that the climate change movement is a fraud.  The Arctic is fine.  Ditto polar bears, glaciers, crops, whales, seals (even baby Harp seals).  The amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is nowhere near what it has been in the past.  Worldwide temperatures, not massaged by Global Warming religious zealots, are normal and declining.  The latest research shows no global warming has occurred for 15 years.  And the sun seems to be going into a long 30 year hibernation.

Organizations like Greenpeace are getting desperate.

Greenpeace is now advocating physical action against individuals and companies who are trying to stop them.  People like me.  People like you.

The following text was posted on the Greenpeace website on Thursday.  I removed their URL links to various "direct action" organizations that they want to "join forces" with, but if you want to know, click the link above.
What do you do when patient petitioning, protest marches and court orders fail? What do you do when all the protocols and cheat codes of democracy fail? This is what you do: you reclaim the language of democracy from the twisted bunch that have hijacked, cannibalized and subverted it.

Pressuring politicians on climate change is not working. We saw that in Copenhagen. Three months later, we also know why. Which is why the global climate movement now must do course-correction. We need to shift targets and go after the real termites that hollowed out and imploded Copenhagen.

Not Barosso, Obama or Wen Jiabao, but the real obstacles to the climate deal this planet deserves and demands. The oil and gas mafia running loose in New Delhi. The coal magnates that have Canberra by the short and curlies. The petrochemical giants that have placed a firm jackboot on the EU's throat. The fossil fools and nuclear lobbyists that have Washington DC on speed-dial.

We need to hit them where it hurts most, by any means necessary: through the power of our votes, our taxes, our wallets, and more.

We need to be inclusive. We need to join forces with those within the climate movement that are taking direct action to disrupt the CO2 supply chain. We need to embrace the conservatives too, the ones that choose scientific rigour and court injunctions as their weapons.

And we need to inspire, engage and empower everyone in between... from the AirPlotters stopping the expansion of Heathrow by purchasing bits of the proposed runway to the volunteer activists that have been making life hell for fossil fuel lobbyists in the US.

Finally, we need to prove repeatedly, consistently, doggedly, that our alternative vision of a world that runs on clean energy isn’t just a prototype, it’s already in production.

Emerging battle-bruised from the disaster zone of Copenhagen, but ever-hopeful, a rider on horseback brought news of darkness and light: "The politicians have failed. Now it's up to us. We must break the law to make the laws we need: laws that are supposed to protect society, and protect our future. Until our laws do that, screw being climate lobbyists. Screw being climate activists. It's not working. We need an army of climate outlaws."

The proper channels have failed. It's time for mass civil disobedience to cut off the financial oxygen from denial and skepticism.

If you're one of those who believe that this is not just necessary but also possible, speak to us. Let's talk about what that mass civil disobedience is going to look like.

If you're one of those who have spent their lives undermining progressive climate legislation, bankrolling junk science, fueling spurious debates around false solutions, and cattle-prodding democratically-elected governments into submission, then hear this:

We know who you are. We know where you live. We know where you work.

And we be many, but you be few.
And so, Greenpeace.  I am tempted to change the name of The Big Dustup to the "Anti-Greenpeace Blog", just to see if they will try to hunt me down.

It may come as a big surprise to most people that Greenpeace, the World Wildlife Fund, and various other environmental NGOs are heavily endowed.  Greenpeace had donations of €196 million ($265 million) in 2008.   The WWF had revenues in 2009 of slightly over $200 million, much of which was from corporations and governments.  The climate skeptics are the true grassroots activists -- and they are the true scientists too, using objective analysis, not persuaded by the tenets of the new Climate Religion.

The skeptics don't cook the books the way the "true believers" like Hansen and Jones and Mann do.

I often wonder where my big check from "big oil" is.  I look in the mailbox every evening with a little flashlight, but it never seems to show up.  If Exxon-Mobil wants to help me out, maybe they can just hit the tip jar over on the side of the page where it says, "Donate".  But a check would be better, because PayPal takes a little cut of the tip jar....

Maybe they should rename themselves to Greenwar, or Greenviolence.  Oh wait.  I forgot.  War is peace, slavery is freedom, and we have always been fighting Oceania or is it East Asia?  Maybe there is no truth except for progressive truth, as Greenpeace says.

Where is JJM when you need him?  He would have sent Greenpeace his name and address, and challenged them to come get him!
