Ice Continues to Grow Past the Normal Peak Date

According to all of the models and statements of IPCC scientists (and very well-funded organizations like the WWF), the Arctic is the "canary in the coal mine" for the world.  It responds more quickly to global climate changes than any other place on the planet.

So what the heck is going on here with the significant growth of Arctic Sea Ice?:



 And this image doesn't look like the polar cap is going to melt away to nothing anytime soon:


I am waiting for the inevitable statement from Jim Hansen at NASA-GISS that the month of March was the warmest ever seen, just like the month of February was the warmest, and last year was the warmest, and the last decade was the warmest, in the history of the entire planet.

His fiddling with the data to support his global warming religion is starting to become just silly.  The guy seems to have some serious mental issues.

It will be interesting to see what the summer brings for Arctic ice.

One thing I do know:  The science is so not settled.
