Welcome to the Big Dust Up. This is the place for discussions about freedom, current events, modern culture, world history, science, global warming and about anything else that strikes my fancy. I like to look at things from a large perspective, with a realization that most of the big issues of the day really don't mean much in the long term -- unless they are part of a larger trend. We'll try to point out those trends, while having a little bit of fun with the so-called big issues.
